Trinity Weekly Update – Hallowe’en Sunday

Hello Trinity Friends!

 
This Sunday we encourage you to come in costume to our Sunday Worship Service at 10:30 am.  We are anxiously waiting to see if we will have a special visitor this Sunday!  The Junior Choir will be singing a song in service as well.
 
This weekend, several youth and their leaders will be attending the Niagara Youth Conference where they will have the opportunity to meet with the Moderator and participate in workshops to deepen and enrich their spirituality.  
 
A reminder that the deadline for the Advent Newsletter is due on Sunday November 13th.  Please hand them in or email them to blais.trinity@gmail.com
 
Trinity’s UCW Christmas Tea and Bazaar is coming up!  If you are able to help with baking, making sandwiches, donating items for the white elephant table, making jams, pickles, etc. please take a look at the bulletin to see who to contact and how you can help.  It is greatly appreciated!
 
Next week our clock’s get turned back for Daylight Saving Time!  Please remember to turn your clock back an hour on Saturday night!

A reminder that tonight, Michael White will be performing Led Zeppelin at 7:30 pm.  Tickets will be available at the door. $35 (in advance $30).
 
This Sunday, please join us for worship at 10:30 am.  Next Sunday – October 30th – everyone is welcome to come in costume!

UCW Cafeteria Style Lunch – Friday October 28th 11 am to 1 pm.
 
The United Church of Canada has initiated an appeal for Hurricane Matthew Relief. Trinity will process your donations through the offering plate – please clearly indicate “Emergency Response – Hurricane Matthew” on your cheque/envelopes.
 
Today as Sandy Foster and the Hope2Kenya team depart for Kenya, please join us in wishing them Godspeed and safe travels.  We hold Sandy Foster, Darlene Laferriere, Debby Clark, Jessica Kelso and Roxanne Robert in prayer as they provide support, resources, education and hope to women and children in Kenya. 

Trinity Weekly Update – October 14, 2016

Hello Trinity Friends!

 
Please join us this Sunday October 16th at 10:30 am for worship. Following our morning worship service, please join us downstairs in the Fellowship Hall for a free-will offering lunch, sponsored by Trinity’s UCW.
 
The Christian Education and Outreach Committee thank-you for your donations of food and money for Trinity’s Food Shelf Program.  Your continued support of this important ministry is appreciated.  The Monday Food Shelf at Trinity as well as the Monday Breakfast Program at the Gathering Place are in need of volunteers.  If you are able to offer some help, please speak with Roxanne Chartrand or Jim Liddell.
 
The UCW  welcome Judi Rose on Monday October 17th at 1 pm in the Fireside Room, as she speaks about the historic and fascinating “Old Hay Bay Church”.  All women are welcome for fellowship, fun, tea and goodies.
 
Trinity’s Board will meet on Tuesday October 18th at 7 pm in the fireside room.
 
A reminder that Michael White and The White will be performing two Led Zeppelin albums: Houses of the Holy and Physical Graffiti on Friday October 21st at 7:30 pm.  Save the taxes and service charge and get your tickets from the Church office for $30.  Also, if you would like to help load in and load out for the show, you will receive a free t-shirt, CD or DVD!

Trinity Weekly Update – Thanksgiving Weekend

Greetings Trinity Friends!

This Sunday, we celebrate Thanksgiving Sunday with wonderful music and a baptism.  The Sunday School will be collecting items for Trinity’s Food Shelf as well.  If you are able, please bring items your donations of non-perishable food items or monetary donation for this important ministry in our community.  Thanksgiving envelopes are available from the ushers.  

IF YOU EVER GOT A TATTOO…

On Sunday October 16th in worship, Rev. Ted will be talking about phrases and images that sustain your faith. If you have a tattoo-worthy picture or a brief sentence that speaks faith to you, please share it with Ted! (tedharrison@hotmail.com)

Following our worship service on Sunday October 16th, please plan to stay for a free will offering lunch sponsored by the UCW.

Get the LED out – Led Zeppelin Concert  Friday October 21st at 7:30 pm.  

Tickets are now available from the church office for the upcoming Led Zeppelin concert performed by Michael White and The White.  Tickets are $30 even from the office ($35 at the door). 

Roadies are needed – Michael has offered a t-shirt and CD/DVD for any strong people willing to help with load in and load out.  If you are interested or able to help out please email me (Lisa) at blais.trinity@gmail.com
