Special Musical Service – Heavenly Hosts – Sunday February 3rd, 10:30 am

On Sunday February 3rd, Trinity’s favourite local rock band, The Heavenly Hosts, are giving the choir a Sunday off, and will be playing sacred and secular music to guide us through our worship.

A tip of the hat to Robbie Burns – January 27th

This Sunday (January  27th, 10:30 am)we’re tipping our hats to the Scottish throughout our worship, on account of Friday January 25th being Robbie Burns Day–everyone is encouraged to tap into their inner Scot and dress the part!  See you there!

Robert Burns (25 January 1759 – 21 July 1796) (also known as Rabbie BurnsScotland’s favourite son, the Ploughman PoetRobden of Solway Firth, the Bard of Ayrshire and in Scotland as The Bard)[1][2] was a Scottish poet and lyricist. He is widely regarded as the national poet of Scotland and is celebrated worldwide.

Camp Lorrain is a beautiful gem on the shores of Lake Temiskaming. Located north of Cobalt, near Haileybury, Ontario, Camp Lorrain is 279 acres of the most breathtaking land. It is home to one of the best beach areas on Lake Temiskaming, with gradually sloping forested hills that sweep up from the lake to the “top of the world,” offering great views of the lake, abundant blue berry patches, and other wonders of the woods.

 

For more than 80 years the mission of Camp Lorrain has been to provide a Christian camping community in which campers and staff can celebrate God’s creation, experience new relationships, grow personally, and discover a new understanding of faith, in an atmosphere of caring, fun and recreation.
