Hello Trinity Friends,
Between apple pies and Christmas movies it has been a very busy week here at Trinity! It is truly a blessing to work in such a busy place with so many caring and active people. This week apples were picked, peeled and made into over 1600 delicious pies. We are incredibly humbled and grateful to the many people who took the time to support this project – those who coordinated the project, those who helped pick and prepare the apples, those who rolled pastry, those who helped assemble the pies, those who carried and delivered pies, those who donated money and ingredients and of course, those who bought the pies. We are truly thankful!
This Sunday, we celebrate Thanksgiving and all our earth’s bounties. We celebrate World Wide Communion Sunday along with our Christian brothers and sisters around the world. In the spirit of thanksgiving, we are asked to bring non-perishable food items, or a monetary donation for the Food Shelf ministries at Trinity. Trinity provides a weekly Food Shelf and an Infant Food Shelf to those who need it in our community. Thank-you for supporting this very important ministry. Items will be collected during worship by the Sunday School children. Thanksgiving envelopes are available from the ushers.
This upcoming Tuesday October 9th at noon, Trinity plays host to “100 Women Giving Thanks” This is a major fundraiser for Trinity’s Infant Food Shelf. All are welcome to join us.
Next Sunday is Baptism Sunday – October 14th. If interested please be in touch with Rev. Ted or Wanda asap
