Trinity this week – Pentecost Sunday – June 5, 2022

Happy Friday Trinity Friends,
This Sunday please join us for worship at 10:30 am – either in person in the Sanctuary, or on our YouTube channel Trinity’s Worship
This week, you will be allowed to remove your mask while seated in most areas of the Sanctuary.  There will be a designated zone where masks must be worn at all times for those who feel safer with that option.  That zone is located on the Main street side of the Sanctuary (lectern side).  Masks must continue to be worn in all common areas of the church such as hallways and washrooms with the exception of the Fellowship Hall during coffee time. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter!

Next Sunday June 12th, to mark the 140th Anniversary of Trinity United Church, we will hold a special Communion Service and receive new members into our faith family!  Cake will be served during coffee time following the service.

The Food Shelf would like to thank the North Bay Community for contributing generously to the TP (toilet paper) North Bay campaign.  Trinity’s foodbank received over 1,400 rolls – This includes about 160 collected by the AOTS! Thank-you!
Thank-you to all those who supported our item of the month in May. This month’s item is cereal. If you are able to, please add one extra item for those in need to your shopping cart and leave it in the Food Shelf area.

On behalf of the Trinity family we offer congratulations to Rod on his third, highly anticipated book of short stories – GRIN REAPING!  Be sure to pre-order your copy now from your favourite bookstore! Check out more about Rod’s books (including some fun book trailers) here http://rodcarley.ca/  Rod will be at Allison the Bookman on Saturday June 18th from 12 – 2 to sign copies of his book.

A last reminder that this weekend is the last weekend to sign up for Rev. Ted’s Secret Bookclub!   For a suggested donation of $100 to Trinity’s Brick fund, members and friends of Trinity get a copy of this year’s book (to be read in July), and an invitation to one of several intimate backyard (or on-line) book parties (in August) to re-connect and discuss the book!  For more information or to sign up please be in touch with Rev. Ted or send us an email.
See you Sunday!
