Please join us for worship this Mother’s Day Sunday at 10:30 am. The Junior Choir will be sharing a song. After the service, join us for fellowship and coffee. While you are enjoying your coffee, please be sure to take a look at the Silent Auction sheets and place your bids! There are a number of wonderful items and services to bid on – and at the moment, it looks like I will be going home with ALOT of baked goods – so please – take a look and place your bids!!!
In the fellowship Hall you will also have the opportunity to:
- purchase gift cards from the AOTS for anything from groceries to gas and much more! Purchase of these gift cards provide an opportunity to help support youth and youth programs
- purchase fresh, local maple syrup helping to support the Scouting programs
- pick up tickets for the Dressing Room Collective show “BROADWAY STORIES” for a special opening night group price of $15
- purchase tickets to the gourmet GLITTER DINNER featuring a delicious buffet style meal (salmon, roast pork, stuffed chicken, sides, salads, desserts – many gluten free and vegetarian options too) $40 (you will get a $25 charitable tax donation)
- Register your child(ren) for this summer’s Vacation Bible Camp program – July 15 to 19th – spaces are filling up – get your registration forms in soon to guarantee your space
A few upcoming events to put on your calendar
The UCW will meet this Monday May 13th at 1 pm in the Fireside Room. The topic is “Mother’s Day” All women welcome!
NORTH BAY “PRESBYTERIAL” UCW will gather in Powassan on May 15th. The theme will be New Beginnings. The guest speaker will be Melody Duncanson-Hales, Minister of Stewardship and Youth, Canadian Shield Regional Council. Welcome will be at 10:00, with lunch provided by our hostesses.
The J.O.Y. Bands spring concert “Maytime Melodies” takes place on Sunday May 26th at 1:30 pm. All proceeds will go towards the Trinity roof restoration fund.
