Trinity this week – July 16, 2023

Hello Trinity Friends,

Please join us this Sunday for worship at 10:30 am.  We welcome our friends from St. Andrew’s United Church, who are joining us throughout the month of July.  Did you know that St. Andrew’s and Trinity have had a long standing arrangement to share Pastoral Care and fellowship over the summer months while each church is closed for holidays? Please extend any of our visitors a warm welcome!

The following Sunday – July 23rd, will be our last Sunday before we close for holidays in August – as the last Sunday in July is a special fifth Sunday Service!  See information about that below.

Trinity’s VBC only has only a couple of spots available.  If you have not yet sent in your registration forms, do it soon to avoid disappointment!

Help Needed: There will be around 60 campers and their helpers attending VBC the week of July 24 to 28th.  That will be alot of mouths to feed!  If you are able to bake mini muffins, cookies or unfrosted cupcakes or donate fresh fruit (grapes, berries, melon) that would be appreciated!  Volunteers in the kitchen are also welcome – you will have a chance to see the camp in action and meet some wonderful young people! Please speak with Janice Brownlee or Jean Mitchell for more information or offer your donation of food.  Thank you!

The rest of the photo packages have arrived!  You may pick them up at church on Sunday or through the week (Monday to Thursday) between 9 and 12.

Trinity Safety Check

While we are closed, we are looking for people who would be willing to check in on the building. The task takes about 30 minutes a day and is required under our insurance policy.  If you’d be willing to check in on our building a few days in August, please speak with Bob Cook or look for the sign up sheet on the table outside the office.

Trinity’s Infant Food Shelf has a new Facebook page.

Please like and follow! www.facebook.com/infantfoodshelf

The Infant Food Shelf is hosting a Christmas in July event at the Heritage Railway on July 25th.  Families can come visit Santa, take some pics and ride the train and carousels!  In the spirit of giving, we kindly ask you to bring either a cash donation or new diapers and wipes to help us “fill a crib” for Trinity Infant Food Shelf. These essential items will greatly benefit families in need, ensuring that their little ones have a healthy and happy start in life. Please come out and support this wonderful event.
