Trinity this week – Ascension Sunday – February 14, 2021

Hello Trinity Friends,As we have just heard the news that North Bay’s lockdown will be extended until at least the 22nd of February, we will continue to offer our services online. In person worship will be suspended until it is deemed safe to return to gathering together. These are challenging times, but we will continue to stay positive and look for ways to stay connected. You will find some creative ways to do just that in the Lenten newsletter which is posted below. In a couple of weeks, the Annual Report will be ready for distribution as well – Ross is being kept busy!

The worship service for this Sunday is available here https://www.youtube.com/c/TrinityNorthBay The service will be available beginning at 10:30 am on Sunday morning. The following Sunday we will celebrate the first Sunday in Lent with Communion. As we will be gathering from our own homes, please feel free to gather whatever creative elements you have on hand. Next week is the beginning of our Blues Lent series. Musical offerings by many of our talented North Bay (and beyond) community will offer a variety of music to highlight Rev. Ted’s messages. A Blues Lent playlist will be available that week as well. If you have music that you think lends itself to the Blues theme, please feel free to share it with Rev. Ted or myself and I will be sure to added to the playlist.

The staff is continuing to work (mostly) from home during our lockdown period. The phone lines are being checked several times a day, as are emails. If you need to reach us, please leave a message on the answering machine or send us an email. Please reach out to us if we can be of any assistance during this challenging time. I hope that this family day and Valentine’s weekend you will have a chance to connect with your loved ones – whether it be via zoom or by telephone call or other creative means. Get outside if you can to enjoy these lengthening days. Be well,
