This Sunday we light our third Advent candle – the candle of joy! It is sure to be a joy filled weekend at Trinity – beginning with the youth group packing Christmas bags for those in need in our community on Saturday in the gym from 1 – 3:30 pm.
This Sunday during our worship service, the Sunday School will be presenting “Michael Mouse”. The children have been working hard on this – please be sure to come out (and bring friends and family if you wish) to support our children and youth! Following the service there will be a cold potluck lunch. Please remember your cold potluck items to share.
Also this Sunday at 2 pm, the J.O.Y. Band and Trinity Choirs will be presenting “Sweet Sounds of Christmas”. Come early for a good seat and to join in the carol sing-a-long at 1:40 pm. Goodwill Offering with all proceeds to the North Bay Santa Fund.
This week as we light the Advent candle of joy, take a moment to hold in prayer, those who are feeling the loss of a loved one, those who are struggling with illness, addiction or loneliness and those whose day to day challenges prohibit them from experiencing the joy of the season.
