Mustard Seed productions was created in 2007 to provide opportunities for Christian youth to build community around a common love of theatre. We welcome actors, singers, dancers, stage hands, musicians, those interested in lighting, sound, props or costumes to join our troupe anytime. We have presented Godspell , Creation , Cotton Patch Gospel , Garden Varieties and a Junior Mustard Seed production of Free to Be .
This year we are planning a production of Once Upon a Parable, directed by Darlene Laferriere. This lively musical will be performed March 1st and 2nd 2013.
We will be holding an information session at Trinity United Church (corner of McIntyre & Ferguson, North Bay) on Sunday, January 13th at 1:00 pm. We invite young people in grade 1 and up who are interested in participating in this exciting production to attend the information session or to call Trinity United Church for more information.
There will be a number of parts available as well as opportunities to help behind the scenes for those who would like to be involved but don’t want to perform. We will be looking for volunteers to help in areas such as costuming, prop/set design, choreography, sound, lights and stage managing. Adults and youth who are interested in helping out behind the scenes are also encouraged to attend the information session.
