Holy Week at Trinity

Hello Trinity Friends,

Hello Trinity Friends!

This week as we journey through Holy Week, there are a number of worship services and opportunities to deepen your relationship with the Holy Spirit.

Palm and Passion Sunday – March 29, 10:30 am

Throughout Lent we have been exploring and engaging with music and word on the topic of faith, doubt and hope.  This Sunday, Chris Mogan performs Marc Cohen’s “Walking in Memphis”.  We thank all the musicians who shared their gift of music with us during our “Breaking Faith” Lenten journey.

A reminder that Lenten Offering envelopes are available from the ushers this Sunday.  The Lenten Offering donations are to support Trinity’s Food Shelf programs.  Thank-you for your continued support of this very important ministry!

Maundy Thursday Potluck and Communion Service – Thursday April 2nd
Come join with your friends from Omond and St. Andrew’s United Churches for a potluck and Communion service beginning at 6 pm at St. Andrew’s United Church (McIntyre entrance).  Please bring a potluck dish to share and be welcomed in a time of fellowship and faith.

Youth Prayer Vigil – Thursday April 2nd and 3rd.
The Youth Prayer Vigil begins following the Maundy Thursday Communion Potluck and wraps up after the City-wide Good Friday Service.  All youth in grade 7 and up are invited to this all night prayer vigil. Youth who are unable to attend the potluck are welcome to meet us at Trinity after 7:30 pm.

The area United Churches gather for a shared Good Friday Service at Omond United Church.  Please note that the worship time has been changed to 10 am!
