Hello Trinity Friends!

This Sunday we celebrate the 55th Anniversary of UCW (United Church Women)!  It is sure to be a joyful and spirited worship service.  Next Sunday November 12th, we will have a special Remembrance Sunday Service.
Some Announcements and Upcoming Events
 
Photo Directory: We are grateful to Karen and Wes Johnson for their dedication to this very important project.  We anticipate having a new photo directory in the new year.  It is our hope that *everyone* is photographed so that we have a complete and up to date photo directory.  Even if you are not interested in purchasing a photo – we need you to have your picture taken!!!!  There are two evening sessions:  Tuesday November 28th and Thursday December 7th between 5 and 9 pm.  Please contact me to set up a time slot. Photos and Photo Gifts will be available for purchase after church this Sunday.  All proceeds go towards Trinity – helping to support the many important ministries that are housed under our beloved Church’s roof!
Shad-Man T-shirts: Our very popular Shad-man shirts will be available for ordering again this Sunday.  Children, Womens and Unisex shirts are available in a variety of colours and styles.  Come take a look after church.  $15 each (proceeds to support Children’s programming at Trinity.)  Shad-Man will be making a special appearance at Gateway Fan-Ex on November 12th between 10:30 and 5 pm at Canadore College. Drop by and say hello to our favourite Super Hero!
2018 United Church Calendar is now available for purchase from Janice Brownlee after church.  $5 each
Trinity Game Night – Trinity will host a games night  each Friday night beginning Friday November 10th at 6:30 pm.  All those interested in board games, strategy games, etc. All those 14 and older are welcome to come out.  For more information speak with Douglas Bott-Baxter – call Trinity’s office for his contact info
Next weekend Trinity’s UCW will be holding their annual Tea & Bazaar “A Victorian Christmas”.  Saturday November 11th from 1 – 3:30 pm.  Lots of treats and treasures (knitting, sewing, white elephant table, baking and crafts) plus fancy tea with sandwiches and a dessert plate.
The J.O.Y. Band will be presenting “Musical Memories of the War Years” on Sunday November 12th at 2 pm.  A sing-a-long will start at 1:30 pm.  Free Will Offering to the North Bay Crisis Centre.  Refreshments to follow.
