Mustard Seed Theatre was created in 2007 to provide opportunities for youth to build community around a common love of theatre.  Our inaugural theatrical offering was performed in the spring of 2008 and was Godspell, a musical conceived and written by John Michael Tebelak with lyrics and music by Stephen Schwartz.   We are thrilled to be re-staging this fantastic musical with a brand new cast!

Godspell, based on the Gospel according to St. Matthew, is a modern retelling of the life of Jesus. The story unfolds through parables, as Jesus teaches the disciples how to live and relate to each other. The musical uses elements of clowing, as well as rock and folk music, to communicate its message.
