Trinity Weekly Update – November 20th

Hello Trinity Friends,

 
Join us this Sunday for a special worship service that will include baptism.  Following our morning worship you are invited to come down for a hotdog lunch (Free-will offering will be collected for Trinity Family’s upcoming retreat).  Join us after lunch for special VIP seating for the Santa Claus Parade on Main Street.  Hot chocolate will be served.
 
There are a number of special concerts and events happening at Trinity and in our community. Please see the information below and plan to join us when you are able.
 
Wednesday November 25thA Celtic Christmas with the Ennis Sisters – 7 pm
Tickets are going fast – get yours from Doris-Rae Brownlee after church this Sunday.  $25 
 
Friday November 27thUCW Cafeteria Style Lunch – 11 – 1   All are welcome!
 
Friday November 27thTrinity Families Lasagne Supper and Downtown Christmas Walk – 4:30 – 6 for supper and come back after the walk for music by the Heavenly Hosts – Please sign up in the Sunday School room if you are coming for supper.
 
Saturday November 28th – St. Andrew’s United Church Kids Only Bazaar – 10 am – noon for kids 4 – 13yrs old.  This is a wonderful way for children to get their Christmas shopping done.
 
Saturday November 28th Heart of Gold – Neil Young Tribute Concert Fundraiser

$10 available at Trinity’s office.  Benefit Concert for 6 year old Ben McWilliams’ surgery to control seizures due to epilepsy.

Heart of Gold: Neil Young Tribute Concert

Trinity Arts is pleased to present “Heart of Gold – A Neil Young Tribute Concert” on Saturday November 28th at 8 pm.  This is a special benefit concert to raise money for a 6 year old Brian McWilliams who has recently gone for brain surgery to control seizures from epilepsy.  Tickets are $10 each and are available at the church office of the door.

Hello Trinity Friends!

 
Please join us for a very special Remembrance Service this Sunday November 8th at 10:30 am.  We will pause to remember those who have given their life in service and give thanks to those who have served and are serving for peace.

 
Please plan to come back later in the afternoon for a wonderful concert by the J.O.Y. Band.  Musical Memories of the War Years starts at 2 pm with the sing-a-long starting at 1:30 pm.  Admission is by free-will donation – with proceeds to help support Syrian Refugee Families.

Trinity Families Geo-Caching – TomorrowSaturday November 7th, 1 pm
A reminder to Trinity Families that we will meet here at Trinity at 1 pm to organize our geo-caching trip.  Please dress warmly and prepare for possible wet weather.
 
 
The UCW meets on Monday November 9th at 1 pm.  A special guest will give a short presentation on children of war who were evacuated from Britain and Germany for safety.  All women are welcome to join us for tea, goodies, fellowship and an interesting talk
 
Nipissing Manor Fall Communion ServiceTuesday November 10th at 2:15 pm. All are welcome!
 
On Saturday November 14th plan to have a lovely day at Trinity.  Come for the bazaar for lunch and some Christmas shopping, and come on back after supper for decadent dessert and great entertainment for the Robotics FIRST Team 1305 Coffeehouse! See below for details.
 
The UCW Christmas Tea and Bazaar is Saturday November 14th from 1 – 3:30 pm.  Donations of sandwiches and items for the white elephant table are still being accepted. See the bulletin for more information.
 
Heavenly Hosts and FIRST Team 1305 (Robotics) Coffeehouse at Trinity on Saturday November 14th at 7 pm.  All are invited for a fun night of entertainment and decadent desserts.  Admission is by free will donation with proceeds to be shared between Trinity Arts and the FIRST Team 1305.  Contact Nancy Dewar-Stenning for more information (ask the Church office if you need her contact info).
