Team Trinity – Coldest Night Fundraiser

Coldest Night Fundraiser.

As many of you know some members of Trinity have formed a team for the Coldest Night Fundraiser. The Coldest Night of the Year is a fantastically fun, family-friendly walking fundraiser that raises money for the hungry, homeless and hurting in 65 communities across Canada on Saturday, February 22nd, 2014.  The North Bay event is a fundraiser for the gathering place, North Bay’s soup kitchen.

If you would like to join our team you can click on the link below and register.  If you would like to donate money on behalf of our team you can also click on the link and an option to donate will be on the page as well. You may also choose to sponsor one of the walkers on our team, or any other team!  Jim Liddell is walking as part of the gathering place team, several Trinity members are walking as part of Team Trinity and some have joined other teams!  All are for a good cause and will help support a very important ministry in our city. (Charitable tax receipts will be given to all donations over $20)
Everyone is welcome to join us!  Registered walkers will get a free toque.

The walkers will have a choice to complete a 2 km, 5km, or 10 km walk (or run).  The walk begins between 5 and 6pm – and depending on how fast and how far you walk could take anywhere from 1 – 3 hours.

As we get closer to the walk date there will be more information about where our team will meet, etc.  This will be a very fun and fantastic way to help raise money for a fantastic organization.
