Philippines Flood Relief Appeal

As you have heard the Philippines has been hit by a “super” typhoon leaving terrible destruction, and shortages of drinkable water and food.  The United Church of Canada has responded initially with a $10,000 contribution to partner organizations in the area to assist.  If you would like to contribute to help the Philippines through the UCC, donations may be made directly to the Philanthropy Unit of the United Church or through Trinity.  We will collect for a couple of weeks and then send a joint donation.  Your donation will be included on your 2013 tax receipt.  Please label your donation “Philippine Flood Relief”.  The Canadian government has announced it will match donations received on or before December 8.  Please make your donation by Sunday, December 1 so that we can get them to M&S in time.
